Last week was a crazy one! I was induced Monday mainly because I wanted Sam to meet Bode before he left for the MTC on Wednesday. Matt and I actually came home from the hospital a day early and so Sam and my parents were able to come to our house instead of the hospital. Sam had to report to the MTC around 1:30 and so we had a couple hours to chat, eat PF Changs, and say goodbye to Sam.

Families don't go into the MTC with the missionaries anymore. You just say goodbye and drop them off...so we said our goodbyes...

I wasn't able to go to Sam's farwell seeing how I was being induced the next day so Sam had his talk recorded for me so that I wouldn't miss out. I just listened to it on Sunday and balled my eyes out! Sam is so spiritual and so well prepared for his mission. I am so impressed with his dedication and excitment to serve the people of Winnepeg Cananda!
